5 STARS FROM THE VAMPIRE DIARIES ARRESTED

Five stars of the hit new US drama The Vampire Diaries were arrested in Georgia for standing on an overpass and reportedly flashing their girly bits at motorists, according to Radar Online.

Actresses Nina Dobrev — who plays The Vampire Diaries' leading lady — Sara Canning, Candice Accola, Kayla Ewell and Krystal Vayda were charged with disorderly conduct after passing drivers called 911 in late August. A photographer with the actresses was also charged.

The group claimed they were just on a photo shoot for the series.

The arrests didn't hurt The Vampire Diaries: Variety reports that, when the series debuted in the States on September 10, it achieved the highest ratings ever for US network The CW. Almost 5 million people tuned into the premiere, most of them females aged 12 to 34.
