Is the richest person of Latin American descent in Hollywood according to Forbes, and the most influential Hispanic entertainer in the U.S. according to People en Español's list of "100 Most Influential Hispanics".She parlayed her media fame into a fashion line and various perfumes with her celebrity endorsement. Outside of her work in the entertainment industry, Lopez advocates human rights, vaccinations and is a supporter of Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Lopez began her career as a dancer on the television comedy program In Living Color. She subsequently ventured into acting and gained recognition in the 1995 action-thriller Money Train. Lopez's first leading role was in the biographical film Selena (1997), in which she earned an ALMA Award for Outstanding Actress. She earned her second ALMA Award for her performance in the 1998 film Out of Sight. She then starred in the romantic comedies such as The Wedding Planner (2001) and Maid in Manhattan (2002). From her 2007 pregnancy Lopez had been writing her then-confirmed seventh studio album, Love? due for release in Summer 2011. It features productions from Danja, Jim Jonsin, Darkchild, Chris n Teeb (from Dropzone), Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, D'Mile Mike Caren, Jean Baptiste and The Neptunes. A song titled "Fresh Out The Oven" featuring Miami rapper Pitbull surfaced online in October 2009 but her record label said that it was simply a buzz single.It has since topped the Hot Dance Club Songs chart. The project's official lead single, "Louboutins", had its radio debut on November 23, 2009, following the song's premiere and performance at the 2009 American Music Awards. The song only managed to enter the Hot Dance Club Play chart six weeks after release and reaching number 1, however, it failed to enter any other chart, including the Billboard Hot 100. In late February 2010, it was confirmed that Lopez and Epic Records have parted ways.

Lopez's manager, Benny Medina confirmed the news saying "Jennifer had a wonderful relationship with the Sony Music Group, and they have shared many successes together, but the time was right to make a change that best serves the direction of her career as an actress and recording artist, she is grateful and appreciative to everyone at Sony for all that they accomplished together."Lopez later released a statement to the media where she said that she had already completed her contractual obligations with Sony Music Entertainment and Epic Records and decided it was for the best to end the partnership on amicable terms. She added that she found a new "home" [record label] for the album 'Love?' and it will be coming out Summer 2010.Shortly after being spotted talking to Island Def Jam Music Group's chairman and CEO L.A. Reid, it was confirmed on March 19, 2010 that Lopez signed with Def Jam Recordings, and is working on new material for Love? with RedZone Entertainment (Kuk Harrell, The-Dream and Tricky Stewart).




Philanthropy


Lopez is an avid supporter of Children's Hospital Los Angeles and was presented with the Children's Humanitarian Award at the hospital's inaugural Noche de Niños gala in September 2004. Lopez continues to attend the annual red carpet event and is a regular visitor to the hospital. The singer participated in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon benefiting the hospital in 2008. In May 2009, Lopez formed The Maribel Foundation, with the goal of supporting Children's Hospital Los Angeles and improving health care internationally.

On February 14, 2007, Lopez received the Artists for Amnesty International award "in recognition of her work as producer and star of Bordertown, a film exposing the ongoing murders of hundreds of women in the border city of Juárez, Mexico". Nobel Peace Prize winner José Ramos-Horta presented the award to Lopez at the Berlin International Film Festival. She also received special recognition and thanks from Norma Andrade, co-founder of Nuestras Hijas de Regreso a Casa A.C. ("May Our Daughters Return Home, Civil Association"), an organization consisting of mothers and families of the murdered women of Juárez.

Lopez has also been involved in promoting vaccination for whooping cough. Lopez is working with Sounds of Pertussis and March of Dimes to promote awareness about the disease and encourage vaccination of adults to prevent spread of disease to infants.

Britney Jean Spears was born on December 2, 1981, the second child of Lynne Irene and James Parnell Spears.

She is of English heritage through her maternal grandmother, who was born in London, and of distant Maltese descent.

Her siblings are Bryan James and Jamie Lynn-(Zoey 101).

At age three, she started to attend dance lessons in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, and was selected to perform a solo at the annual recital. During her childhood, she also attended gymnastics and voice lessons, and won many state-level competitions and children's talent shows. Spears made her local stage debut at age five, singing "What Child Is This?" at her kindergarten graduation. She said about her ambition as a child, "I was in my own world, [...] I found out what I'm supposed to do at an early age". At age eight, Spears and her mother Lynne traveled to Atlanta for an audition in the 1990s revival of The Mickey Mouse Club. Casting director Matt Cassella rejected her for being too young to join the series at the time, but introduced her to Nancy Carson, a New York City talent agent. Carson was impressed with Spears's vocals and suggested enrolling her at the Professional Performing Arts School; shortly after, Lynne and her daughters moved to a sublet apartment in New York. Spears was hired for her first professional role, as the understudy for the lead role of Tina Denmark in the Off-Broadway musical Ruthless!. She also appeared as a contestant on the popular television show Star Search, as well as being cast in a number of commercials. In December 1992, she was finally cast in The Mickey Mouse Club, but returned to Kentwood after the show was cancelled. She enrolled at Parklane Academy in nearby McComb, Mississippi. Although she made friends with most of her classmates, she compared the school to "the opening scene in Clueless with all the cliques. [...] I was so bored. I was the point guard on the basketball team. I had my boyfriend, and I went to homecoming and Christmas formal. But I wanted more."

In June 1997, Spears was in talks with manager Lou Pearlman to join female pop group Innosense. Lynne asked family friend and entertainment lawyer Larry Rudolph for his opinion and submitted a tape of Spears singing over a Whitney Houston karaoke song along with some pictures. Rudolph decided he wanted to pitch her to record labels, therefore she needed a professional demo. He sent Spears an unused song from Toni Braxton; she rehearsed for a week and recorded her vocals in a studio with a sound engineer. Spears travelled to New York with the demo and met with executives from four labels, returning to Kentwood the same day. Three of the labels rejected her, arguing audiences wanted pop bands such as The Backstreet Boys and The Spice Girls, and "there wasn't going to be another Madonna, another Debbie Gibson, or another Tiffany." Two weeks later, executives from Jive Records returned calls to Rudolph. Senior vice president of A&R Jeff Fenster stated about Spears's audition that "It's very rare to hear someone that age who can deliver emotional content and commercial appeal. [...] For any artist, the motivation—the 'eye of the tiger'— is extremely important. And Britney had that." They appointed her to work with producer Eric Foster White for a month, who reportedly shaped her voice from "lower and less poppy" delivery to "distinctively, unmistakably Britney." After hearing the recorded material, president Clive Calder ordered a full album. Spears had originally envisioned "Sheryl Crow music, but younger more adult contemporary" but felt alright with her label's appointment of producers, since "It made more sense to go pop, because I can dance to it—it's more me." She flew to Cheiron Studios in Stockholm, Sweden, where half of the album was recorded from March to April 1998, with producers Max Martin, Denniz PoP and Rami, among others.

Spears became an international pop culture icon immediately after launching her recording career. Rolling Stone magazine wrote: "One of the most controversial and successful female vocalists of the 21st century," she "spearheaded the rise of post-millennial teen pop ... Spears early on cultivated a mixture of innocence and experience that broke the bank".[154] She is listed by the Guinness World Records as having the "Best-selling album by a teenage solo artist" for her debut album ...Baby One More Time which sold over thirteen million copies in the United States.[155] Melissa Ruggieri of the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported, "She's also marked for being the best-selling teenage artist. Bebo Norman wrote a song about Spears, called "Britney", which was released as a single. Boy band Busted also wrote a song about Spears called "Britney", which was on their debut album. She is also mentioned in P!nk's song "Don't Let Me Get Me". Richard Cheese called Britney Spears "a remarkable recording artist" and also went on to say that she was "versatile" and what the industry calls an "artist". People magazine and MTV reported that October 1, 2008, the Bronx's John Philip Sousa Middle School, named their music studio in honor of Britney Spears.Spears herself was present during the ceremony and donated $10,000 to the school's music program.

First & foremost I'd like to say Happy New Year! This is my first blog posting for 2011 :) So i thought of a cool idea. I should write about some top celebrities. I'm going to call them Mega Stars. First up...Lady Gaga! Love her or hate her you can't deny the fact that she is a Mega Star! So enough about that. Now on to the story.

Lady Gaga, (Real Name:Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta)was born in New York City on March 28, 1986

She is of Italian descent.

The eldest child of Joseph Germanotta, an internet entrepreneur, and Cynthia Germanotta

She learned to play piano from the age of four, went on to write her first piano ballad at 13 and began performing at open mike nights by age 14.

At age 17,Gaga gained early admission to the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and lived in a NYU dorm on 11th Street. There she studied music and improved her songwriting skills by composing essays and analytical papers focusing on topics such as art,religion,social issues and politics.

Gaga had initially signed with Def Jam Recordings at the age of 19,although she was dropped by the label after only three months.Shortly after, her former management company introduced her to songwriter and producer RedOne, whom they also managed.The first song she produced with RedOne was "Boys Boys Boys",a mash-up inspired by Mötley Crüe's "Girls, Girls, Girls" and AC/DC's "T.N.T.".

Music producer Rob Fusari,who helped her write some of her earlier songs,compared some of her vocal harmonies to that of Freddie Mercury.Fusari helped create the moniker Gaga,after the Queen song "Radio Ga Ga".Gaga was in the process of trying to come up with a stage name when she received a text message from Fusari that read "Lady Gaga."
He explained,

Every day,when Stef came to the studio,instead of saying hello,I would start singing 'Radio Ga Ga'. That was her entrance song.Lady Gaga was actually a glitch; I typed 'Radio Ga Ga' in a text and it did an autocorrect so somehow 'Radio' got changed to 'Lady'. She texted me back, "That's it." After that day, she was Lady Gaga. She’s like, "Don't ever call me Stefani again." She was known thereafter as Lady Gaga!


Philanthropy

Besides her career in music, Gaga has enhanced her repertoire as a philanthropist who has contributed to various charities and humanitarianism works.

Gaga held a concert of The Monster Ball Tour following the 2010 Haiti earthquake and dedicated it to the country’s reconstruction relief fund. This concert, held at the Radio City Music Hall, New York, on January 24, 2010, donated any received revenue to the relief fund while, in addition, all profits from sales of products on Gaga’s official online store on that same day were donated. Gaga announced that an estimated total of $500,000 was collected for the fund.

Gaga also contributes in the fight against HIV and AIDS with the focus upon educating young women about the risks of the disease. In collaboration with Cyndi Lauper, Gaga joined forces with MAC Cosmetics to launch a line of lipstick under their supplementary cosmetic line, Viva Glam. Titled Viva Glam Gaga and Viva Glam Cyndi for each contributor respectively, all net proceeds of the lipstick line were donated to the cosmetic company’s campaign to prevent HIV and AIDS worldwide.

She proclaimed that the October 11, 2009, National Equality March rally on the national mall was "the single most important event of her career." As she exited, she left with an exultant "Bless God and bless the gays," similar to her 2009 MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech for Best New Artist a month earlier. At the rally, she performed a cover of John Lennon's "Imagine" declaring that "I'm not going to play one of my songs tonight because tonight is not about me, it's about you." She changed the original lyrics of the song to reflect the death of Matthew Shepard, a college student murdered because of his sexuality. In September 2010, she spoke at a rally in favor of repealing the US military's Don't ask, don't tell policy, which prohibits lesbian, gay and bisexual people from serving openly,and released an online video urging her fans to contact their Senators in an effort to get the policy overturned. Editors of The Advocate commented that she had become the "fierce advocate" for gays and lesbians that future president Barack Obama had promised to be during his campaign.

I got a question for you. What annoys you? I was just thinking. I get so annoyed by pop,hip/hop & music like that all the time. I seriously hate it. Everytime i hear i want to gag. I am a huge metal/rock fan. any chance i get to here it i listen to it. Now i won't say i hate all pop or hip/hop music but i do not like most of it. Another thing that annoys me is watching re-runs or gag worthy love stories. Anyone else feel the same? I'd so rather watch a horror movie than a love story. And yes i'm a girl. But whatever!!! So now it's your turn tell me what annoys you? Why do i wan't to know? I've said this all before my blog is random. So i'll post random things. I wan't to enjoy my life so why not have fun & just do stupid things?

It's been a while...

So it's been a while since i've posted. I have gotten a few autograph's (Celebrity Experiment). I've Ashton Kutcher,Selena Gomez & a few other's. I'm still waiting on a few. Now on to a new subject. Soon i'll be writing some book reviews. Wan't to get started on that soon. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Now let's get ready for Christmas =D

The Celebrity Autograph Experiment-week1

So here's an update:

So far i've messaged over 25 bands & singer's Skillet,RED,DEMON HUNTER,HEMME,TOBY MAC & JACI VELASQUEZ too name a few.

So far i have gotten 3 responses but i did just send these message 2 days ago so there still fairly new. Anyways WAVORLY said that they'd try & send me something. DEMON HUNTER said that it'd be hard to get the entire band to sign something because they all live in different states but since the bassist replied to me i asked him if he only would so we'll see. Lastly SKILLET replied & said thanks for the encouragement & for me to check out their store on the website. That sometimes they have things signed by them there. So basically a no. But it's ok this is just an experiment. But now i know that basiacally they want tyou to pay if you want an autograph. Hmm....I wonder what the rest of the people will say if they even reply?

I'll update you when i get more reply's or information!

The Celebrity Autograph Experiment

How generous are celebrities on giving autographs to there fan's? that's a good question. And I've been thinking about it & thought I'd like to know the answer.
Don't you? so i thought about conducting an experiment to figure it out.

so I've decided to mail celebrities writing them a fan letter & ask for an autograph.
I'll be sending the letter's out soon & i can't wait to what responses i get. Now i know that not everyone will send me one but I'm going to try. Plus we'll find out which celebs go out of there way to please their fans which one's don't.

Now I'm not saying they don't care if i don't get an autograph back but maybe they could care a little more considering it's because of us that they have any money & fame. how many letter's I'll be sending out? I don't know yet but is going to be a lot.

Now I've had some trouble in finding legit addresses so if you know any could you please let me know? thanks!

Now this is not about me getting an autograph so much as it is who would actually do this for a fan.Since this is an experiment i will be doing follow ups in the coming week's to keep you updated.

Let's see how many celebs will give me an autograph for being a fan & not charge me 'cause I've heard of celebs charging for an autograph which i don't think is right they make so much money.

Episode:Winter Wonderland

Navid is convinced Jasper pushed him down the stairs and turns to Adrianna to help reveal the information. Annie is confronted by her friends about Jasper's drug dealing but when she confronts him about the news he reveals his suspicions about her involvement in the hit and run. Naomi and Silver decide to spend Christmas break in St. Barts but first make an appearance at the beach club for the winter dance. Teddy reveals his feelings for Silver, causing Dixon to be jealous, while Naomi and Liam attempt to forgive each other for what happened with Jen.Debbie attempts to spend some quality time with Dixon by taking him to the arcade.

So finally Annie finds out the truth about Jasper.But he tells her he knows that she hit his uncle.





Melrose Place

Episode:San Vicente

Jonah and Riley decide to head to Las Vegas to elope but the day doesn't quite go as planned. Ella arranges a pitch meeting for Jonah with an important producer who is interested in buying his film. Meanwhile, Lauren calls David after she gets in trouble with one of her male clients and Auggie confesses his true feelings for Riley. Also, Michael gives David information about Sydney's killer and Amanda bonds with Violet over Sydney, but of course Amanda has an ulterior motive in getting to know Violet.

So it turns out that Michael's wife killed Sydney.Because Sydney confess to her that her husband was cheating on her with her.We also find out that she used to be with David as well as Sydney did.And theres also a possible chance that Noah isn't David's brother but his son.OMG!Shocker!!!!!

So now we have to wait a few weeks before we can see new episodes.

Oh yeah i dont know if yall have seen this but theres a CW dating quiz.

The American Music Awards 2009

What happened last night at the AMA'S you ask? You don't know? Oh well I'll tell.....Read on :D



Performances:
Lady Gaga, dressed in a flesh-colored bodysuit wrapped with white piping embedded with flashing lights meant to imitate ribs? Starting off by singing hit “Bad Romance,” she segued into “Speechless” by using her microphone stand to bust open a glass box with a piano inside. Straddling the bench, she then proceeded to smash glass bottles as she performed the song. In a bizarre touch, she had violinists perform wearing gas masks in smoke-filled chambers beside her.I personally believe Gaga's performance was the BEST! But that's just me :D



Adam Lambert,wore a silvery suit, with spikes on his left shoulder, to sing his first single from his album For Your Entertainment. As expected, the controversial last performance was filled with plenty of writhing, groping, hip swiveling and S&M costumes. The singer even planted an intense smooch on one of his keyboardists. By the way abc has gotten over 1,500 phone calls complaining about the performance.But i should let you know that they have not received this many complaints about a woman doing the same things.Maybe not exactly everything but similar.But in my opinion i believe it's only because he's a male.



Jennifer Lopez showed up to perform her new single “Louboutins,” a homage to the pricey, red-soled shoes.Her album “Love?” drops early next year.Dressed as a boxer sang her song in a great performance.In the middle of her performance she walked up her dancers back as if they were stairs & at the top she attempted a jump but her landing wasn't successful.She fell on her butt,but she got up quick.She didn't stop,do a face or anything.She's such a pro.after that she did a solo dance.She's a true entertainer in my opinion.



Janet Jackson performed multiple songs mixed together:miss you much,what have you done lately,if,make me & together again.
